that the deadline for the submission of appeal forms for the secondary 3 posting 2010 will be on this Thursday, 26 November 2009.

Yo everyone.
I would like to use this platform to THANKS EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED THE CLASS CHALET!
It was a fun and memorable one, i think.
I enjoyed it alot.
We barbecued at night. The charcoal we bought were not obedient, they just wont fire and everyone desperately uses all kind of stuff to enhance the speed of firing the charcoal. Then we "Yum Seng" with soft drinks at night and released a party popper. Then we played card games and watched movies, "Aunty Lucy" as well as "The Wig" (Though there's something wrong with the disc and ended the movie halfway through). Then had McDonalds for supper and everybody enjoyed that McFlurry and McChicken and other stuff. Then we slept and alot of things happened. HAHA. Woke up in the morning and went for breakfast and slacked like shit till we checked out.
Though it might be a short 2 Days 1 Night event, but I'm sure everyone enjoyed it and had fun. I felt really touched to see that everyone have enjoyed themselves and my effort didnt go down the drain.
So i hope that maybe next year we can have a reunion chalet with all the 2I4'09 people? Yea, hope you all will support this idea cos' u know, 2I4'09 will never part.

Though like what Yong Hui said a few more hours the results are out and everyone would be distributed to different classes, but I hope you all would remember the fun and the times we had as a class.

Thank you everyone for making my life in Fuhua a memorable one and hope that 2I4'09 would come together again in future.

On 3 November 2009, all of you MUST stay back after the Financial Literacy Course which is at 12pm for a short briefing regarding this event. Please kindly co-operate with us cos' if we can end the briefing smoothly without any interruptions, we will gonna end it soon. Mrs Bala will be with us for the briefing. So, please be at your own best!
And, those who like to contribute the photos can save ALL THE PHOTOS IN A THUMBDRIVE and pass it to be latest by Wednesday. Thanks.

2. Farewell Class Chalet - Final Goodbye for 2I4'09 Heroes.
Please kindly note that before 12 November you are still allowed to join us for the chalet. A fee of $20 is still applicable and you can pass it to either Sze Eng or Yong Lay. Remember! Latest by 12 November so anytime you feel like joining in the fun, please do so by either informing Sze Eng or Yong Lay. We would be very glad to welcome more people! Dear 2I4'09 Heroes!

There is some changes to the Graduation Ceremony for our class! :D

Date: ~~30th October 2009~~
6th November 2009
Reason for the change: Time was very rush on 30th October 2009 as some of us have to go OUT of school for their Sports Carnival. We were afraid that there might be communication breakdown and we were unable to contact the people in our class. And also, there is O Levels Examination on that day, our Form Teachers were not free as they have to go out of school for invigilation and we might not be able to stay long in school. On 6th November 2009, everyone of us are suppose to come back to school to receive our report books. Since everyone is coming back on that day, why not come back earlier for this event? We won't be rushing and we can celebrate it in a more fun way.

Event Theme: ~~Always untied as one, Always a 2I4-rian~~
The Affair of 2I4 Heroes!
Reason for the change: Many of us find the old theme mushy and wanted a change. We have think of this theme "Heroes" as all of us have come a long way, and we managed to break through the obstacles despite all the unforeseen circumstances. This is an affair for you, our heroes! :D For your info, our theme song is "Hero" by Mariah Carey. :)

Time:
1.30pm-3.30pm [Formal Ceremony]
Information: During this 2 hours, it is gonna be a formal ceremony, everyone should be serious as though you are attending a dinner at the Istana with Mr President. No giggling or kiddish acts are allowed.
3.30pm-4.00pm [Tea Reception]
Information: After the Formal and Solemn Ceremony, we will be enjoying the food that you guys have bought for refreshments.

I thought after you all have read what me and szeeng have wrote previously,

I seriously do not know what's wrong with you guys.

I know you all are very enthu about going home and inform your parents about yourself, excited about enjoying the chocolate that Mrs Tay gave us for reward, very interested about how much you get for your L1R5, very keen to play a game of basketball with your gangs.

BUT WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN 2I4'09?!

This is what we witness when we were talking about some serious stuff this afternoon.
I saw people packing their bags, chatting with others people, meddling with their calculators, loitering around the corridor of the classroom, using handphone.
All these shouldn't have happen, if you really care for the class.
I am really disappointed.
I understand that some of you might not be allowed to go for the chalet so you are not quite attentive when Szeeng is talking about the chalet.
But when I was issuing about the Graduation Ceremony, the situation get worse.
Some people went home. -.-
Is like, OMG. You know how disappointed I was.
I thought you guys were very enthu about the Graduation thingy.
This is what I have gotten from you guys. ):

Because I wanted to give you guys a memorable separation,
I cracked my head every night to thing of something special.
I need to associate with the teachers and hold meetings with them.
Do all kinds of preparations just to make sure that the event for a fulfilling one.
These are all behind-the-scenes, you can see them and neither you can feel how hard it was.
I do not want you to repay what I do, I just want you to co-operate with me.
It is just a simple task and you can't even do it.
I have really nothing to say.

Let me tell you all.
We may cancel our Graduation Ceremony on Friday.
I do not even know we are even allowed to hold it during the O'Levels Examination period.
If the whole class were chased out of school on Friday, we will just have to cancel it.
It is impossible to held outside school cos' we have alot of stuff that we need to flash it on the screen.
Unless you can get for me a place where we can hold functions legally and a projector and screen for me to flash the stuff i want.
So, if that's the case, that's it you know.
There goes your final day as a 2I4-rian.

I do not how you feel know after reading this lengthy "essay"
maybe you still felt nothing at all (which you fail to become a 2I4-rian)
But I hope you would give me your co-operation and support again.
Tomorrow, during English lesson, I would do a briefing for the Graduation Ceremony again.

Everyone of us here makes up a class. There is nothing if just one is missing. Time is going to seperate us all soon, and lets make more happy memories before it happens, so when you think back, think about us, the happy times we had, not just nothing. Because having nothing as memories is the most tragic thing .

To create these wonderful memories we need a sacrifice. We need your attention and effort. We need response. Yes, it may seem like alot to some of you but what are all this minor things compared to beautiful memories? It's nothing.

We can only live being 14 once. (16 for sunzhong and yujie.)
We're different from last year. Very different.
So we should celebrate that we managed to stay united despite the differences. And next year, we would be even MORE different. There's is no next time, comrade , there is only now.

Make spontaneous and unique memories, whether good or bad. Because when you look back in time, it will all twist and turn, and all become good.

So please. Help us by giving your response. Tell us whether you're going for the chalet by monday. comfrim with your parents. :)

Hi Guys.
Frankly speaking, I am actually quite disappointed with the response yesterday when me and Szeeng was promoting about the Graduation Ceremony and Class Chalet issues.

I do not know what you think but i am sure that some of you must be thinking that this is lame, or is just a Ceremony which is not important and just don't give a damn about it.

But there is always a reason why we want to do all these "lame" stuffs.

We have been together for at least 1 and a half year.
We have been through all sorts of laughter and sorrows.
Can you still remember the days when you step into the classroom without any friends?
Because of 1R4'08 and 2I4'09, you have made friends. And maybe more than just a friend. We have treated ourselves like brothers and sisters and cared for each other. We went out for lunch together, watched movie together, play block catching together, etc.
Can you still remember we sleepover in school during our Orientation Camp?
Everybody was unable to sleep due to the harsh conditions in the classroom, but YingLian managed to sleep like there's no tomorrow. Everyone laughed at him. There's rumour that one of our female classmates slept on the steps of the stage in the hall. She was snoring and she fell down from the steps. Everyone laughed .
Can you still remember our first chalet on June 2008? Everybody went there with joy and excitement. We swim and got scolded for playing water bombs, we barbecued and almost burnt the food, we listened to the ghost story by Szeeng and screamed like there's no tomorrow when an unknown went to knock on the door, we were amazed by the toilet door which locked by itself and unlocked automatically again, everybody laughed when elvin were unable to sleep after drinking a cup of warm water.

Whether you still remember a not,
it does not matter.
What really matters that you are grateful what 1R4'08 and 2I4'09 have done for you.
Everybody have grown up from their life experiences.
And of course with the existence of 1R4'08 and 2I4'09.

The reason why we organized the Graduation Ceremony is because we want to bond together before our separation. It is gonna be a separation! NO MORE 2I4'09 from next year onwards. 2I4'09 would be split into several pieces and we may not be able to contact each other again. It is very sad to know about this but this is really what is going to happen next year.
So please treasure what you have during the last day of school. It is the last day of 2I4'09 and we hope that a grand ceremony would be held for this special event.
Also be mindful that we are the only class that is doing this. Other class dun even have the chance to do all these before their separation.
So please, I hope that after reading this post, u will be overwhelming about the whole event gave us your 100% support. We do not wish to force people to come for this event. Cos' we dun wish everybody will attend the ceremony with a grumpy face. We want your willingness.

So this is just a friendly reminder.
1. We are going to held the Graduation Ceremony on this coming Friday, 30th October, which is the last day of school.
2. It will be held directly after the 1 hour break of your sports carnival. Which is around 12.30pm.
3. We will be doing it at Class 4E4 as our classroom would be used for O Level Exams.
4. Please be in your class tee if possible.
5. FOOD! Please bring food along. No junk food please. Home-cooked food is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED but you may also want call some catering from McDonalds or Pizza Hut and share the cost among a few of your classmates.
6. PHOTOS! Remember the photos?! Please send the photos to yonglaytan@gmail.com or bluetooth it to Yong Lay via phone when you met him. The person who contributed the most number of photos will get a token. :)

Really got no mood to study.
Another 3 normal sch days before we will all be separated...
It is just impossible to be in the same class next year, everyone has their each and individual own dreams, which no one would be the same...

For th timing, we plan to like meet at about 10-11 at some interchange. Most likely JE.

Guys,
this may not be a really pleasant post as I am going to say something that may upset many of you guys.
Recently I was exploring our school's class blog and I came across 2I1 class blog.

I was damn unhappy about this.
Since when our class laughed at 2I1.
Maybe I would like clarify something.
During one of the rehearsals me and Jack were in the control room gossiping,
then we laughed at one of the jokes.
At that time class 2I1 was rehearsing.
They may think that we are laughing at their acting.
WE ARE NOT! IT IS A PURE MISUNDERSTANDING!
Believe it or not.
But this is really unacceptable, the person who posted this was actually doing something offensive to our class.
Hope they wont do this kind of stupid stuff again.

Chinese Drama is finally over!
Although our class didnt manage to emerge ourselves in the Top 3,
but I'm sure that all of us have done our best.
At least we got 3rd Runner Up and the Best Stage Effect Award.
Let's give ourselves a GREAT ROUND OF APPLAUSE!
Because...
Those who are acting or helping in the Chinese Drama have been very active,
those who are not acting or helping but i know you all have been supporting through the whole Chinese Drama period.

Anyway,
please bring your PRINTED TRAVEL DECLARATION FORM and your THERMOMETER on monday! These two things are very very very IMPORTANT because....
If u dun bring the thermometer to school, you will have to pay $1 for the temperature measurement by the school. I know $1 means nothing to people like our Mr CEO son. but 39pupils will be $39! The school will earn $39 in one day. Isn't that something AMAZING?! So MUST MUST MUST bring your thermometer!
For the form, it is also very important. Other schools have set the rules that if the pupils did not bring the form to school, they are not allowed to enter the school. I do not know whether Fuhua have this rule but it is very important for you to bring the form.

Our dear delia have contacted the class tee people.
The people agreed to let us collect the class tee on WED!
WOO~!

So now,
For those who are very enthu about your class tee and you wanna collect the tee on wed after school, you have to wait for us until we come back to school with the class tee. I still dunno the mode of transport. If we go by delia's dad car, we should be back at around 45mins. If we go by bus, we should be back around 2hrs!
So yah.
But if you dunwan to get it on wed, (coz you are too lazy to stay back or wad), you will get it on thurs.

Oh yah,
I will ask Mdm Jiang if the Learning Journey can wear class tee or not.
If she say can,
then those who bought the class tee MUST wear.
I dun wan anyone to argue or bargain with me.
If you dun wan to wear,
you must tell the reason.
If you think it is ugly and it will disgrace you when you are outside school,
please return the tee and we will use it to wipe the floor.

This Blog is so dead seh.
OK, i will just update the homework for this weekend.
Geography (That particular worksheet)
Maths (Do on Maths Notebook. Not sure about the pages and questions)
Higher Chinese (Compo, if you haven finish)
English (Vocabulary book. Also not sure about the questions and pages. will update later on)

Oh no we have a problem here.
And is like damn confusing.
OK, it is regarding the class tee.

At first,
they scheduled us to go and collect the class tee at next thursday.
So you all can get it on next friday.

BUT NOW,
next thursday got LEARNING JOURNEY!~
and is like from 2-6pm (Leaving and Reaching school time)
Oh no!~
If we go collect it on thursday after the learning journey,
then it will be very late and we will reach home late also.
I can reach home late,
but i doubt delia can.

So now i have 3 solutions.

1. Me and delia will contact the people there and we ask if we can collect our class tee on WEDNESDAY, so you all can get it on THURSDAY and the whole class can wear it for the learning journey. That will be great...

But if we cant get it on wednesday... ...

2. We will get it on Friday. Coz that day is the CNY performance. All students will come school watch concert then can go home liao. No lessons. For those who wanna get the tee on friday, you all have to stay back after the concert and wait for us. Which is about 2 hours time. Those who cant wait, then you all go home first and we will pass you the class tee on Monday. And me and delia will bring the tees which are not collected back to our home. if you dun wanna us bring the tee back home, and you wanna us to put under your table which is seriously unsafe. If you wanna risk, please tell us.

and if you dun like Option 2...

3. Someone who can volunteer and follow me to the Queesway and collect the class tee on THURSDAY after the Learning Journey. Which is seriously late.

Please tell me your prefered option on the tagboard. Any suggestions please leave it there too!~
BUT PLEASE DUN GIVE ME RUBBISH!~

Coz there are some people out there criticizing that it looks like those buddha art that is used in temple. LOL.
So, we have changed a new class logo and the colour of the TEE.

So our ~~chalet~~ proposal is a failure.
Only 6 people wanted to go, as far as i know now.

SO ME AND DELIA DECIDED TO CANCEL IT!

Few days ago went for CLDDS training,

Erm.
There will be a change for the location of the class chalet.
We will not be going Costa Sands - Downtown East anymore.
We will be going to a chalet that i think no one in our class has been there before.
Better facilities and good chalet environment.
And it is much more cheaper.
Details will be given out during the first day of the school.
The rest, except for the cost of the chalet is still the same.

Erm..confused? Never mind.
Just dun think about it first.
Planning still in progress and some things will change.
Just wait for 2nd January and you will know.

The reporting time and the ending time for the Sec 1 registration for the Year 2009 has changed!

Reporting time: ~~9am~~ 7am
(OMG. It is earlier than our reporting time during our school days)

Really..
these few days i really had a headache.
Planning...planning..and MORE planning!
Plan which chalet we should go..
(Chalets in mind: ~~Aloha Loyang~~, Costa Sands Downtown East/Pasir Ris)
Plan the cost and manage the budget...
(I dont want to spent $1000 on a simple class chalet)
Plan approximately how many people is going..
(Coz i know some of you wont be that supportive and cooperative at all. Simply you just heck care)
And if there are few people going...
Problems come again...
Each person have to pay more and more when the amount of people going getting lesser.
I am sure not everyone is willing to pay $50, right?
And I decided to change the chalet to 2DAYS and 1NIGHT.

It is near a Bicycle Rental Shop and a Cycling Track. There is no built in BBQ Pit (that means we have to spend extra money to rent) and only simple benches for sitting.

Costa Sands Resort - Pasir Ris
Duplex Room

Facilities:
Double-storey
Hall, ground floor with ceiling fan
1 bedroom, upper floor, air-conditioned
Towels
2 single beds (upper floor)
2 mattresses (ground floor)
Television Set (ground floor)
Electric jug
Refrigerator
Attached bathroom
Total Chalet Cost: $248 (With NTUC Membership Card)
Comments: The space is much larger than the two chalets mentioned above as it is double storey, but it is also difficult manage. There is really nothing special about this chalet, it is just that it is big, that's all. All basic facilities found in this chalet can be found in other types of chalet also. There is no built in BBQ Pit (that means we have to spend extra money to rent) and only simple benches for sitting. I am not sure whether there is any special attractions nearby but I think it is the same as Choice No.2 (near a Bicycle Rental Shop and a Cycling Track)

Overall Comment: To me, Choice No.1 is better, what do you think?

Ok i am here to update our dear training prefects that on 19th December 2008 (Friday), all of your will have to be down for the Secondary 1 Registration for the Year 2009 and your job is to usher the parents and upcoming batch of Sec 1 students. Report at the study area by 9am. Be in your formal school uniform with your school tie and training prefect badge. If you have lost your badge please prepare money (i think is $3.50) to buy a new one. Your school shoes, shoelaces and socks must be 100% white. Gromming will also be checked by the EX-CO on that day especially our hair (please dun think in a pervert way). Girls if you have long frindge that cover the eyebrow, remember to use a hairclip to pin it up. For guys please go for a haircut if there is a need. Everything will end at about 2pm. Whether lunch will be provided is still unknown. Will update to you guys soon. Jasmine and Mardiana will be the OICs for the event. If you have any enquiries please either sms them or leave a message in the tag board in the prefects' blog.
